oldest and most
Park House English School is one of the oldest and most respected schools in Qatar with so much to offer your child. We are committed to ensuring our students are fully prepared and competent to meet the challenges of life in a dynamic world where change is the norm.
Park House English School was founded in Doha in 1994 by the Brennan family, and acquired by the International Schools Partnership in 2015. Through its rich history, its long standing reputation and many years of commitment to education and hard work by all members of staff, Park House is one of the most prestigious British schools in Qatar, with places highly sought after at every year group.
Catering for children from ages 3 to 18 (nursery through to Year 13), Park House English School offers a high quality British education with modern approaches to learning. This year, we celebrate 25 years of exceptional education in Doha, an achievement we are truly proud of.
Truly international, the Park House community hails from over 70 different countries, and is a family of highly diverse individuals whose collective aim is to build a better world through amazing learning. This helps students to develop their international mindedness and respect for cultural diversity.
Much emphasis is placed on guiding the students in the appropriate ways to behave and conduct themselves. They are encouraged to be kind, honest and respectful, and take on responsibility for their own learning. We are committed to creating and maintaining an environment where students are motivated, challenged and enthusiastic about their learning, one where they take pride in their work, are proud of their school, and are able to achieve success and reach their full potential.
There is no doubt that the teachers and other classroom-based staff are the most important ingredient in a child’s success at school. Park House English School teachers are carefully selected to ensure they are highly trained and have significant experience in delivering the various curricula on offer at the school. Our teachers undergo professional development to ensure they are providing the best experiences in the classrooms, and are very well looked after to ensure their happiness both in and outside the school.
The refurbishment to Park House English School over the summer of 2018 has seen some wonderful improvements and additions to our campus and facilities, including a new reception area, an extension to the auditorium, two new science labs, refurbished libraries, an extra ICT lab, a design technology suite, and a brand new dedicated Sixth Form centre. We’re pleased to say we now have some of the best facilities amongst many of the schools in Doha.
Park House English School is a proud accredited member of a number of international British educational bodies, including British Schools Middle East (BSME), British Schools Overseas (BSO), and the University of Cambridge. We are also a member of the Qatar Supreme Council of Education.
We’re also one of the few secondary schools in Doha to deliver the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award, a youth awards programme founded in the UK that recognises adolescents and young adults for completing a series of self-improvement exercises, and Edexcel, a multinational education and examination body that regulates school examinations under the British Curriculum.
