As ISP Schools we are committed to the communities we are a part of, and also strive to ensure our students have chances to experience learning outside of the classroom while connecting with other ISP students around the world.

As a part of Ramadan this year, our school had the opportunity to be a part of the first ISP Holy Quran Competition. This competition gave students from all ISP schools in the Middle East, the opportunity to test their Quran recitation skills against each other. This opportunity was open to students who speak Arabic as a first or additional language. We are delighted that our schools collectively had over 600 applicants for the competition.

We are proud to share that Park House English School had five winners. Husam (Year 5), Minaal (Year 6), Zahra (Year 8 ), Rodaina (Year 9) and Razan (Year 10) were crowned winners in their respective year groups.

Our head of Arabic, Ms Asma Al-Abbasi said, “The Quran competition was a great initiative for all of our students to get involved in. I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate our winners for their outstanding achievement and amazing effort. We are proud of you! We are looking forward to having even more winners in next year’s competition.”

Other SP schools in the UAE and Qatar include: Aspen Heights British School and Reach British School in Abu Dhabi, The Aquila School and Nibras International School in Dubai, and Hamilton International School in Doha.
