INCLUSION & SEND
In order to meet the standards expected by the British Schools Overseas (BSO), the Council of International Schools (CIS), and the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE) in Qatar, Park House English School aligns its inclusive practices with the UK SEND Code of Practice (2015), the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (Article 42), the UN Sustainable Development Goal 4 – Quality Education, and the Qatar National Vision 2030.
Park House English School is an inclusive institution that strives to support students with diverse needs and abilities, within the scope of the resources and support services available.
In our multicultural and diverse community, every child’s well-being and progress are central to our educational approach. Guided by our PRiDE values, mission, and vision, we offer a broad and balanced curriculum tailored to support the emotional, social, physical, and academic development of all learners.
We celebrate difference, view diversity as a strength, and are committed to fostering understanding and mutual respect. We aim for every child to feel a genuine sense of belonging and to be fully included in school life.
As we nurture global citizens, we expect all students, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), to actively participate in all areas of school life and fully integrate into the Park House community. Our dedicated staff work collaboratively to identify barriers to learning through a clear referral process, and where appropriate, we engage external specialists to ensure students receive the support they need.
While we are committed to meeting the needs of all learners, it is important to acknowledge that our resources and facilities have limitations, and we may not be equipped to support students with highly complex needs.
When a child is identified as having additional needs, strong collaboration with parents is essential. Open and honest communication ensures we can provide the most effective support. Failure to disclose known learning difficulties or special educational needs, or if it becomes evident that the school is unable to meet a child’s needs, may result in the withdrawal of a school place.
We therefore emphasise the importance of transparent, ongoing home–school partnership to provide every child with the best possible educational experience.
If you have any questions regarding the above, please contact your child’s classroom teacher or school leadership team. We are here to help and support any way we can.

Our approach is centred on adaptive teaching, carefully tailoring learning experiences to meet individual needs. Through collaborative planning and evidence-based practices, we empower all learners to succeed.
We work in close partnership with families and external specialists, drawing on international best practices to ensure that students with additional needs are fully supported throughout their journey.
At Park House, every child is valued and equipped with the tools they need to reach their full potential.
