The International Schools Partnership (ISP) is a growing group of globally located international schools, united in their common goal of being the school of choice in their local area. Learning is at the heart of everything ISP does for its colleagues, students and parents.
In October 2019, ISP is launching The Learning Hub to all of its teachers and staff across the world. The Learning Hub is ISP’s unique collaborative digital space where all colleagues can connect, share best practice and engage in meaningful professional development as they aspire to get even better together.
“What makes The Learning Hub unique is that it has been created by everyone, for everyone across our global learning community. We have collaborated with colleagues across the worldwide ISP group to develop courses and resources which are purposeful for our colleagues in their contexts. During our five-month soft launch earlier this year, we received consistent and active feedback directly from our community which enabled us to change and improve the content according to our colleagues’ specific needs.” said Emily Porter, The Group Deputy Director of Learning and Education, ISP, who has led the development of The Learning Hub.
The Learning Hub is provided through Canvas, an online learning platform which includes “Canvas Studio” an interactive video facility which encourages two-way, inclusive and engaging discussions between learners.
The type of courses and resources available through The Learning Hub span a variety of areas, from the learning process to school improvement planning to mindfulness and wellbeing courses.
“The Learning Hub will help us to deliver the world class education for which ISP schools are known. There is a wealth of talent across ISP schools and through The Learning Hub, we can demonstrate, showcase, and share best practice while learning from thought leaders across international education- wherever they are in the world, at any time” said Porter.
ISP will be launching The Learning Hub throughout October to over 6000 colleagues globally across the ISP group.
