Park House English School was founded in Doha in 1994. Through our rich history, our long-standing excellent reputation, our many years of commitment to high-quality education, and our hard work by all members of staff, we are proudly considered to be one of the most prestigious British schools in Qatar, with places highly sought after in every year group.

We hold a number of international accreditations and accolades

Park House English School is a proud accredited member of a number of international British educational bodies, including British Schools Middle East (BSME), British Schools Overseas (BSO), and the University of Cambridge. We are also a member of the Qatar Supreme Council of Education.

We’re also one of the few secondary schools in Doha to deliver the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award, a youth awards programme founded in the UK that recognises adolescents and young adults for completing a series of self-improvement exercises, and Edexcel, a multinational education and examination body that regulates school examinations under the British Curriculum.

Our teachers care, are highly experienced and passionate about education

Park House English School believes teachers and other classroom-based staff are the most important ingredient in a child’s success at school. All teaching staff are fully qualified and the majority are UK trained with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status). Many members of staff hold Masters degree certificates in their subject specialism.

Park House teachers are carefully selected to ensure they are highly trained and have significant experience in delivering the various curricula on offer at the school. Our teachers undergo professional development to ensure they are providing the best experiences in the classrooms.

Some teachers have been at Park House for as long as 14 years. We really look after our teachers – the accommodation and facilities our teachers have is wonderful, which means they’re happy, and they stay because they’re happy, and this transcends to how they are with our children as well.

We will continue to commit to really looking after our teachers, as we believe this is a key differentiator that truly attracts (and retains) the best calibre staff.

Our IGCSE and A-Level results are among the best in Doha

In fact, Park House English School’s Sixth Form pass rates this year were significantly higher than some of our closest competitors

The breadth of subjects on offer for our secondary school students means they can study just about anything they are interested in, from sciences, languages, economics, business, sociology, music, and arts, to name only a few.

Park House English School is a proud member of the British Schools in the Middle East (BSME) organisation. BSME supports a network of high-quality British international schools in the region and provides high-level sporting, academic and performing arts events for our students.

Music and Arts are cornerstones of our robust curriculum

At Park House English School, we offer a holistic approach, which covers all curriculum areas including personal, social and emotional development.

Every student has the opportunity to study music and art. Art and Music are challenging and rewarding subjects. The curricula aim to draw out individual creative talents and encourage self-expression, within a supportive and structured environment.
