Y6 graduation was held on Sunday 10th June in the school auditorium. This is a big moment for Y6 students as they will enter secondary school in September 2018. A large gathering of parents, guardians and relatives were in attendance to celebrate the occasion. Parents and teachers were treated to entertainment from Y6 including a rousing speech from year heads Lois and Areeb. There was also a musical interlude from four talented students Barbara, Dulce, Serina, and De Andrade.
Y6 Students received their certificates and a Park House English School pen from their respective teachers and school principal Mr John Smith. Mr Smith congratulated all the students on their achievements and advised parents and students to expect big changes in secondary school but to embrace the change as an opportunity to grow and develop.
There was a special presentation of a bouquet of flowers to Ms Ashley Hanson as she will be leaving Park House English School at the end of the school term. Mr Brian Allen, Head of Primary thanked Ms Hanson for all her hard work during the past six years and she will be sorely missed by both staff and students. Everyone at Park House English School wishes Ms Hanson all the best for the future.
