Expo 2020 Dubai – Park House English School Year 10 student, Lamar, has been nurturing her love of music since she was three years old. This is when she started singing, and since then, she has learnt how to play a variety of musical instruments. She had the honour of being selected for a solo part in the Qatar National Day celebrations which took place during Expo 2020 Dubai.
Her love of music led her to choose it as one of her IGCSE subject options and she has this to say about our Head of Music: “My current music teacher, Mrs Nunez, has been a very helpful influence when it comes to my singing, not just by supporting me but also by helping me improve my voice drastically and preparing me for future opportunities.”
We are proud of our students’ successes, even more so when their talents and hard work are recognised through awards.
